Children with special needs (for example orphans or those who suffer from a chronic disease) are those who are the most vulnerable in times of war.
Many lost their parents in battle and need a new home. Orphans from the east had to flee to the west. That is why the number of children in the orphanage in Ternopil has doubled ever since the war began. There is a lack of clothes, blankets and food. Furthermore, the children's hospital in Ivano-Frankiwsk lacks in drugs and other medical devices. It is not possible to offer proper health care to children when there is a supply shortage.
Therefor, Hilfswerk International helps the orphanage in Ternopil and the children's hospital in Ivano-Frankiwsk to safe children's lives.
The aim of this project is to contribute to the relief of orphans in Ternopil and to enable the children's hospital in Ivano-Frankiwsk to offer proper health care to children.
We help the orphanage and the children's hospital by delivering food, clothes, beds, blankets, drugs and medical devices. With that we reach 80 orphans and 80.000 children in need for health care.
