Where we work
Hilfswerk International began its operations in Eastern Europe and has since been active in over 80 countries across nearly all continents. Our past engagements have included work in Latin America and the Caribbean (e.g., Colombia, Nicaragua, Haiti), Africa (e.g., Senegal, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Libya, Tunisia), the Middle East (Lebanon, Syria, Türkiye, Palestine), Europe (e.g., Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan), and Asia (e.g., Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines).
